Our laboratory tests components, material samples and raw materials in accordance with our customer’s specifications, based on internationally recognised standards. We conduct various tests:

• Material samples are tested as an in-process quality assurance measure.

• Newly developed materials are tested in respect of their performance potential.

• For new applications, the materials used are tested in accordance with our customers’ targets in order to conclude quality assurance measures such as initial sample approval / PPAP.

• In order to check the performance of our thermoplastic composites by comparison with competing materials, such as LFT, GMT and metals, we conduct comparative component and material tests.

In addition, Quadrant Plastic Composites is a member of the International Material Data System (IMDS). IMDS is one of the largest material databases in the car industry which was developed by a group of leading carmakers. The IMDS database archives and manages all materials used by its members in the vehicle construction sector. The database is available on the Internet at www.mdsystem.com .
